Spice up your next BBQ. Our homemade recipe for Sriracha Asian Chicken Burgers is an unbelievably easy, uber-delicious twist on the traditional chicken burger.

They’re sweet, tangy, and spicy all at once; exploding with flavor; uber-lean, jacked with HQ protein, and almost completely devoid of carbs and fat.

Each burger contains a lean 180 calories, 21g of protein, and only 3.2g of carbs.

Just whip everything up, mold them into burgers, sliders, or meatballs, and toss them on the grill to light up any summer BBQ. They pair perfectly with avocado and a spicy sriracha aioli (we like them bun-less or in a lettuce wrap).

They’re also great baked as meatballs in the oven—aka little bombs of protein—if you don’t have a grill.

Asian Sriracha Chicken Burgers [Recipes]

Our recipe for Sriracha Asian Chicken Burgers is the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy.

It's an unconventional spin on the traditional chicken burger that's super easy to make, uber-lean, stupid delicious, and jacked with HQ protein.

  • Cook: 20 mins
  • Yields: 16 burgers

Ingredients

4 lbs ground chicken

1 egg

1/2 cup green onions/scallions

1 cup shredded carrots

1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs

1/3 cup soy sauce

3/4 cup hoisin sauce

3 tbsp sriracha garlic chili sauce

Directions

1Add all ingredients to a bowl and combine thoroughly. **For the carrots, either buy them pre-shredded or shred them with a grater (you can also use a peeler to make ribbons).

2Grab a cutting board or platter and mold ground meat into desired shape — we recommend burgers for grilling or meatballs if you're baking them. For burgers, cut out squares of wax paper and mold the burgers on top (it makes it really easy to flip them onto the grill).

3FOR GRILLING: Heat the grill and grease it with oil or cooking spray. The burgers have almost no fat in them so they tend to stick. Grill burgers for roughly 5 minutes per side. START TIMER.

4FOR BAKING: Preheat the oven to 375º and bake for 17 minutes. After baking, quickly pan sear and brown the outside before eating. START TIMER.
