The Beta-Carrotine Protein Smoothie — named for its 1-2 explosive punch of carrot juice and succulent nectarine fruit flavor — is a beta-carotene powerhouse; a carotenoid form of vitamin A that functions as extremely potent antioxidant, which helps safeguard the body against inflammatory, age-accelerating, degenerative free radicals.

The Beta-Carrotine Protein Smoothie
1 Cup Good Karma Flax Milk (or sub with almond milk, coconut milk, skim milk, etc.)
1/2 Cup Carrot Juice (I like Bolthouse Farms)
1 Nectarine, sliced
2 Ice Cubes
- Slice up the nectarine into small chunks.
- Throw all of the ingredients into a large blender. Blend thoroughly until liquefied.
- Pour and enjoy.
