Get moving.

We’re PUMPED to announce that we’ve partnered with Degree, Men’s Health, and Women’s Health on a summer rendezvous to CRUSH a series of fitness challenges hosted by all-world Celebrity Trainer and Transformation Pro Chris Powell.

That’s a power combo. We want you involved, too.

The Degree #GetMoving challenge is a 6-week tour-de-force, if you will, that’s designed to get you off your ass, infuse movement into your daily routine, and push your body as far as it’s capable of going.

Week 1 starts off cut-and-dry—walk 12,500 steps/day for 7 straight days—in an effort to get the juices flowing and condition your body to move more on a regular basis.

You’d be shocked at how difficult this is for the average person, given our sedentary culture that’s chained to an office chair 24/7.

It then escalates over the final 5 weeks into a series of more torturous challenges, including intense time trials and workout slobberknockers, and climaxes with one of Chris Powell’s high-powered, sweat-inducing HIIT workouts. It’s no joke. Be SCARED.

Altogether, the challenge is designed to build the body in sequence and progressively develop muscular strength, power, endurance, CV fitness, and basically every other important metric on the fitness spectrum.

Here’s how it all breaks down.

So what’s in it for you, other than a killer beach bod?

Every time you dominate a weekly challenge (you’ve got 6 chances), you’re automatically entered to win a cornucopia of fitness prizes, including high-tech wearables and fitness swag. And if you successfully crush all 6 in succession, one grand prize winner will rep the title of “Ultimate Challenger” and earn a one-on-one workout with Chris Powell.

Ready to rock? Entering and participating is cake. Join up over at and log each of your workouts via the MapMyFitness app (or website). At the end of each week, make sure that all of your challenge-eligible workouts are successfully logged for entry into the giveaways. Bam, done.

And of course, don’t stop there. Follow our WOTMs and bust your butt in parallel, and show us how you’re doing it with the #GetMoving and #LeanItUP hashtags.

We’ll see ya out there.

I used to be overweight. For any ladies having trouble with losing weight, I recommend reading a review of a weight loss program called The Venus Factor. This program focuses on a hormone called “leptin” that is more concentrated in women. I can’t stress enough that women should try this before wasting her money on things that don’t work. It changed my life…

Love this challenge! But I’m a day late and just discovered it after my run and walk. Is there anyway to participate using FitBit Surge dashboard and not MapMyFitness?
